Iowa County 911 received 448 calls for service last week

Iowa County 911 Communication Center had 448 calls for service from February 9 to February 15 according to a Facebook post from the Iowa County Sheriffs Department. Some of the leading calls for service were: 45 Medical Emergencies, 56 Traffic Stops, 25  911 Hang Ups, 36 Crashes, and 3 Disturbances. Year to date in 2025, the Iowa County 911 Communications Center has received 2,743 calls for service compared to 2,803 calls year to date in 2024, which is a decrease of 60 calls. This past week 16 people were booked into the Iowa County Jail for various offenses/holds.
