Black Earth man arrested for OWI in Arena

On Sunday just after 6 PM the Iowa County Communications Center received numerous reports of a one-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 14 near County Road C in the Township of Arena. Arena Fire, Arena EMS, Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies and WI State Patrol responded to the scene. As a result of the crash, 33-year-old Jonson W Oimoen of Black Earth was arrested on charges of Battery or Threat to Law Enforcement Officer, 2nd offense Operating While Under the Influence, Going Armed with Firearm While Intoxicated, Failure to Stop at Stop Sign, Reckless Driving – Endangering Safety, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer. Oimoen was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he remains in custody at this time. There were no injuries reported resulting from this crash.
