Iowa County 911 calls remain steady year over year

Iowa County 911 Communication Center had 453 calls for service from February 23 to March 1 according to a Facebook post by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department. There were 41Medical Emergencies, 53 Traffic Stops, 18 911 Hang Ups, 23 Crashes, and 8 Disturbances. Year to date 2025, they have had 3,639 calls for service, with only one additional called year-to-date compared to 2024. In the past week 18 people were booked into the Iowa County Jail for various offenses/holds.
