On Monday, at 10:40 p.m., a Crawford County Sheriff conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck on Highway 35 in Seneca Township. The driver, 40-year-old David Salis of Dubuque, Iowa, had a revoked driver’s license and exhibited signs of drug-related impairment. Salis was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver’s license.
