Stockton man injured in crash with semi

Authorities said one person was injured Saturday when his vehicle struck a semi-tractor trailer near Stockton. 26-year-old K.C. James Huffman-Wiezchowski of Galena, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash .According to a press release from the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at about 7:15 a.m. Saturday on Highway 20 East near Stockton. The report states that Huffman-Wiezchowski’s vehicle struck the rear of a semi-tractor trailer traveling east on Highway 20. The semi left the scene following the incident. Huffman-Wiezchowski was cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
