None injured from transformer explosion fire in Dodgeville

On Sunday at 10:53 PM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a transformer explosion causing a grass fire near the intersection of S Lindsey St and County Road B in the Township of Dodgeville. Dodgeville Fire Department, Dodgeville EMS, Dodgeville Police Officers and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Alliant Energy was also notified and responded to the scene. The fire was extinguished and all units returned to quarters. There were no injuries reported resulting from this incident.
