On Sunday at 6:59 PM Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to Highway 23, Darlington Township for a one vehicle accident. 77-year-old Roger L. Sperry of Darlington was travelling on Highway 23 when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, entered the ditch, struck a fence and came to a rest in a pasture. Sperry was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Sperry’s vehicle received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Deputies and Darlington Police assisted.
