The Neal Wilkins Early Learning Center was temporarily evacuated this morning. According to a notification from the Platteville School District, there was an unidentifiable odor detected in the building around 8:00 a.m. and the school was vacated to ensure staff and student safety. After an investigation by the Platteville Fire Department, it was determined safe to reoccupy the Neal Wilkins Early Learning Center building. The odor has dissipated the building and the odor is no longer present.
