Students at Platteville High School will have in person classes after a virtual learning day on Monday due to hail damage on the building. Platteville School District Superintendent Jim Boebel said crews were out Monday putting a protective layer on the building’s roof after Friday’s hailstorm. Most of the damage happened on the eastern half of the building. Boebel said based on statements from contractors, they have anywhere from 200 to 300 different leak spots and some broken skylights. The material for the roof is expected to arrive at the end of the week.
