In honor of National Police Week this week, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office invites all residents, businesses, and community organizations to join in a special tribute to law enforcement by “painting the town blue.” As a visible show of support and appreciation, the community is encouraged to decorate homes, storefronts, and public spaces with blue lights, ribbons, and signage throughout the week. This grassroots effort honors the dedication, courage, and sacrifice of the men and women in law enforcement. The Grant County Courthouse Dome is illuminated in blue through May 18th. The lighting is a symbol of respect for fallen officers.
