The Milwaukee County Judge accused of helping an immigrant avoid federal agents is indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday. Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested by the FBI last month on federal obstruction charges. Her arrest came after she allegedly helped Eduardo Florez-Ruiz evade federal ICE agents who were trying to arrest him following his appearance in her courtroom. Flores-Ruiz, who is a Mexican national previously removed from the U.S. in 2013, is accused of misdemeanor battery in Milwaukee County. Following her arrest, the Wisconsin Supreme Court temporarily suspended Dugan from the bench. She is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
