An 88-year-old man died weeks after a Green County crash that happened in March, the Sheriff’s Office reported on Thursday. The Green Co. Sheriff’s Office said the two-vehicle crash happened after 3 p.m. on March 24, at the intersection of Highway 81 and County T, in Spring Grove. Deputies said that 88-year-old Richard Fluck of Davis allegedly did not yield the right of way from the stop sign while heading northbound on County T, when he collided with a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Eugene Thompson of Monroe. Both were taken to the hospital for their injuries. On Thursday, the Green Co. Sheriff’s Office said it was notified that Fluck died on April 17 from complications from injuries he suffered in the crash. This is the fourth deadly crash of the year in Green County.
