Dubuque County man killed in Grant County motorcycle crash

Authorities said a Dubuque County man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Grant County. 43-year-old Ryan Phillips of Peosta, Iowa, was transported by ambulance to Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, where he was later pronounced dead. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, Phillips was driving a motorcycle south on Grant County C in the Township of Wyalusing at approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Grant County X. The motorcycle struck a curb on the south side of Grant County X, and Phillips was thrown from the motorcycle.
