On Saturday, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck in the Village of Gays Mills. The driver of the truck was identified as 27-year-old Cole Mickelson of Gays Mills. During the stop, a search of the truck was conducted and a plastic container containing methamphetamine was discovered. Mickelson was arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of operating after revocation, failure to install an ignition interlock device, possession of methamphetamine, and violation of probation.
