On Tuesday the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit conducted a traffic stop in the Village of Gays Mills. During the stop, K-9 Diego was utilized and alerted to the presence of one or more controlled substances in the vehicle. A search ensued, and several baggies of cocaine and drug paraphernalia were discovered. 37-year-old Sarah Olson and 37-year-old Bryant Olson of Gays Mills were arrested and transported to the Crawford County Jail on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The operator of the vehicle, Bryant Olson, exhibited signs of narcotics impairment, and he faces an additional charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance.
