Community members in Montfort formed a nonprofit to save their community pool after the village board voted to shut it down at the end of last summer. Knowing how important the pool is to Montfort and surrounding towns, residents decided to form their own nonprofit raising money to save the pool and hopefully one day rehabilitate parks across town. Tonight, the Montfort Improvement Committee will be doing a small presentation at the Community Building at 630pm to show off the new pool design and help answer questions. There will be a short committee meeting following the presentation.
