On Monday at 11:10 AM, deputies from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence located on the 1900 block of Survey Road in Mineral Point. Upon arrival, deputies encountered multiple individuals and ultimately arrested two individuals in connection with the events that transpired. 32-year-old Alex Cutler of Linden was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct with a Weapon Modifier. Cutler allegedly damaged property at the scene, engaged in a physical altercation, and discharged a firearm outside the residence. 20-year-old Mariah Rose Spink of Linden was arrested and charged with Criminal Damage to Property and Obstructing an Officer. Spink initially claimed responsibility for several actions, including property damage and firearm discharge. However, further investigation revealed she was attempting to shield another individual and later admitted to causing only minor damage to a vehicle with a knife.
