No trial date set for man charged with death of Elijah Vue

There was another court hearing but still no trial date for the man charged with the death of 3-year-old Elijah Vue. Friday, Vang’s attorney told the Manitowoc County court they need more time to review evidence in the case. Vang reported Elijah missing in Two Rivers in February 2024. The toddler’s remains were found in a wooded area seven months later. Vang faces multiple charges, including physical abuse of a child causing death, chronic neglect of a child and hiding a corpse. Elijah’s mother, Katrina Baur, also faces charges in the case. She’s currently considering a plea deal. Both Vang and Bauer’s next court dates are in September.
