One arrested for brandishing a gun during Platteville fight

On Saturday at 234am the Platteville Police Department received a report of an altercation on Second Street near the downtown area. During the investigation, it was reported that an individual had pointed a handgun at others during the incident. Officers quickly located the suspect, who was taken into custody. All subjects involved in the altercation were known to each other. Video of the incident shows the suspect brandish a handgun and point it at a group of individuals. The subject was transported to the Grant County Sheriffs Department where he remains in custody. The case was referred to the Grant County District Attorneys Office for charges.
