A firefighter and K9 from the Menomonie Fire Department is headed to Texas to help with flood recovery efforts. Per a Facebook Post from the Menomonie Fire Department, Lt. Andrew Kissh and K9 Reaper left for Texas at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday. Kissh and Reaper will spend two weeks with Wisconsin Task Force 1 helping with search and recovery. The death toll in central Texas’ devastating floods has eclipsed more than 100 people.
