Iowa County structure fire involving hay takes 9 hours to control

On Monday at 12:33 AM Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a structure fire on Prairie Grove Road in Brigham Township. Responding units found a fully engulfed shed filled with hay, at which point mutual aid was called. Crews worked for just shy of 9 hours to bring the fire under control. Responding Fire Departments included: Barneveld, Ridgeway, Dodgeville, Hollandale, Blanchardville, Mineral Point, Cobb, Highland, Mt. Horeb, Verona, Black Earth, and Cross Plains. Responding EMS Departments included: Barneveld, Dodgeville, and Highland.
