12-year-old dead following UTV rollover in Columbia County

Columbia County Sheriff’s Office reports a 12-year-old died after a UTV rollover on Saturday. Officials say the crash happened just before 4:00 p.m. at a farm in the Town of Wyocena. The child was trapped under the machine. Deputies confirmed the 12-year-old was dead when they arrived. Columbia County Sheriff’s Office extended its condolences to the child’s family. The agency was assisted by the Columbia County Medical Examiner’s Office, the Wisconsin DNR, Rio Fire Department, Rio EMS, Wyocena Fire Department and the Sheriff’s Office Chaplain Unit.
