Rep, Tranel seeks nominations for First Responder of the Year Award

Wisconsin Rep. Travis Tranel of Cuba City, seeks nominations from the 49th Assembly District for the 2025 First Responder of the Year Award. A press release states that the award was created in 2019 and highlights the work of emergency services personnel. Nominees can include a police officer or sheriff’s deputy, a firefighter or any level of EMS personnel. The award is open to paid employees or volunteers. One individual will be selected from each of Wisconsin’s Assembly districts and invited to the Wisconsin State Capitol for a recognition ceremony held Oct. 14.
