Greater Dubuque Development Corp. receives award for their broadband initiative

Greater Dubuque Development Corp. received a 2025 Excellence in Economic Development award from International Economic Development Council for its Broadband Acceleration Initiative. They will be honored at the International Economic Development Council’s 2025 Annual Conference in Detroit, Michigan on September 14-17.  Each year, the International Economic Development Council honors economic development organizations, government entities, initiatives, and programs that consistently demonstrate excellence in the field. The honorees lead transformational projects that revitalize communities and advance the practice of economic development.  In 2024, Greater Dubuque Development Corp. was recognized by the same group for its collaborative efforts to increase the availability and accessibility of local childcare.
