The 2025 Field & Stream Music Festival, set for October 3-5 in Winnsboro, South Carolina, featuring headliners Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, has been canceled without much explanation. This marks the second consecutive year the event was scrapped, following its inaugural 2024 edition being called off due to Hurricane Helene. Other acts like ZZ Top, Riley Green, and Bailey Zimmerman were also slated to perform at the fest. Organizers said the cancellation was due to “circumstances beyond our control” on social media but offered no further details, removing all prior posts entirely. The cancellation is especially hard on Eric Church, who co-owns a stake in Field & Stream alongside Morgan Wallen, after the country stars purchased the company from Dick’s Sporting Goods in early 2024. The cancellation adds to a growing trend of festival disruptions in the evolving post-pandemic music industry, with other country music events like Michigan’s Faster Horses Festival also canceled for 2025.
