No injuries following residential HVAC gas leak

The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of the smell of gas around 7 AM yesterday on Savannah St in the Village of Barneveld. Barneveld Fire Department, Barneveld EMS and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. The building was evacuated and MG&E responded to the scene. A gas leak was found near the furnace and HVAC repair was contacted.
