A conditional release plan for the woman convicted in the 2014 Slenderman stabbing in Waukesha is in place, but it’s not being revealed. Documents detailing the release of Morgan Geyser were outlined in Waukesha County Court on Monday and sealed. Geyser and Anissa Weier were 12 years old when they stabbed and nearly killed a classmate to please the fictional character “Slenderman”. Both were sentenced to state mental health facilities. Weier was released in 2021 but recent placements of Geyser in Waukesha and Sun Prairie were met with objections. Geyser’s attorney and Waukesha County District Attorney Leslie Boese agreed last month to move forward with her placement once the state found a suitable facility.
