Governor Tony Evers has made a new order and declaration in honor of the 24th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center’s twin towers on September 11, 2001. Evers has ordered the flags of the United States and Wisconsin to be flown at half-staff today from sunrise to sunset. He also declared a state Day of Service and Remembrance in honor of the nearly 3,000 individuals who lost their lives in the attacks. Evers himself will be participating in service events.
