Livingston man arrested for 5th or 5th offense OWI

Yesterday [Wednesday] evening, the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a vehicle causing property damage in a field on Laufenberg Rd in Eden Township. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. 33-year-old Matthew D Klaas of Livingston was arrested on charges of Operating While Intoxicated 5th or 6th offense, Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device, Criminal Operating After Revocation and a Probation Violation. Klaas was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he remains in custody.
