Corrine Hendrickson launches State Senate campaign

Former New Glarus Family childcare provider Corrine Hendrickson launched her campaign for Wisconsin State Senate at New Glarus Village Park this morning. Hendrickson is a nationally renowned advocate for childcare providers and their families. As the cost of life basics continues to increase – including for childcare – Hendrickson is looking to give working families a greater voice in decisions being made impacting their everyday lives.  A press release states that due to a continued loss of funding for rural childcare, Hendrickson was recently forced to close her longtime small business “Corrine’s Little Explorers.” The 17th Senate District represents southwest Wisconsin including all of Green, LaFayette, Iowa, Grant, and Crawford Counties, along with a portion of Dane County.
