Darlington man arrested for ignition interlock device tampering

Tuesday evening, the Mineral Point Police Department conducted a traffic stop at Highway 23 & County Road S in Mineral Point township. As a result of the traffic stop, 44-year-old Jose Edwin Ramos Martinez,  of Darlington, was arrested for Operating while revoked and Ignition Interlock Device Tampering or Failure to Install. Ramos Martinez was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was later released after posting bond. An Iowa County Sheriff Deputy assisted at the scene.
