One arrested following disturbance in Avoca

Saturday evening the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a disturbance at a residence on North 8th Street in Avoca. Avoca Police Department along with Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the scene where an investigation of the disturbance occurred. As a result, 60-year-old Sandra K. Riley of Blue River, was arrested on charges of Battery and two counts of Disorderly Conduct. Riley was transported to the Iowa County Jail where she currently remains.
