Beaver Dam man arrested for sex crimes in multiple counties

A 24-year-old Beaver Dam man has been arrested on multiple charges related to sexual assaults of children and adults following a multi-county investigation. Owen Sindelar was taken into custody after Tomah Police identified him as a suspect in the sexual assault of a juvenile girl in May. Police say Sindelar traveled throughout Wisconsin and is suspected of committing multiple assaults involving both juvenile and adult victims. Sindelar was already out on bond for felony charges in Dodge and Dane counties when arrested. He is being held in Monroe County jail on a $250,000 cash bond. He faces charges across three counties including sexual assault of children, possession of child pornography, false imprisonment, and violating bail conditions. In Dodge County alone, he faces 10 counts of possession of child pornography. The investigation involved multiple agencies including Monroe, Dodge and Dane county authorities and Lake Delton Police.
