Newly released police bodycam footage from Morgan Wallen’s April 2024 arrest shows the country star initially denying he threw a chair off the rooftop of Nashville bar Chief’s, despite witness identification and security video evidence. The chair landed near two police officers, prompting charges of three counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Wallen, who repeatedly claimed innocence in the footage, is later shown being handcuffed by officers, while claiming “I ain’t done nothing wrong” from the backseat of the patrol car. He eventually pled guilty to two misdemeanor reckless endangerment charges, receiving two years’ probation and seven days in a DUI education center. Following the incident, Wallen publicly apologized and expressed respect for law enforcement, while going on to release his chart-topping album, I’m the Problem, followed by a sold-out stadium tour in support of the project.
