Keith Urban had to cancel his scheduled show on Thursday (October 16) in Greenville, South Carolina, due to laryngitis. The 57-year-old country star has been placed on complete vocal rest as advised by his laryngologist at the Vanderbilt Voice Center, though he is expected to be able to perform at his homecoming show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Friday (October 17). “Hey Greenville, I’m so SO sorry to have to cancel the show,” Urban wrote in a statement. “I know all the logistics it takes to get to a concert these days and I’ve never taken any of that, or any of YOU for granted. I’m looking forward to getting back there when we can!” Urban is currently finishing up his High and Alive World Tour, with only two more concerts scheduled for the remainder of the year before he resumes his tour in March.
