Crawford County Sheriffs are investigating a hit-and-run crash. On Sunday, shortly after 8 PM, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hit and run crash on Highway 27 near Snyder Road. A Ford F-250 pickup truck was decreasing speed for a vehicle preparing to turn left. The pickup truck was rear-ended by a sedan, which fled the scene at a high rate of speed northbound on Highway 27. The sedan entered Mount Sterling and nearly struck a pedestrian as it turned off Highway 27 onto West Street. The sedan was described as a tan-colored late 1990’s to early 2000’s Buick LeSebre. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crawford Cunty Crimestoppers or the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.
