On Saturday, The Grant County Communications Center was notified of a single vehicle crash on HWY 129, near the intersection with City Limits Rd., in North Lancaster. Upon arrival the Deputy learned the lone male occupant had fled into a corn field. With the assistance of the Lancaster Police Department, and Grant County Emergency Management and their drone, the male occupant was located in the standing corn. The driver, 31-year-old Dillon Potts of Lancaster was arrested for Operating while under the influence 2nd offense. Potts was transported to the Grant Regional Health Center by Lancaster EMS for medical attention, and then later booked into the Grant County Jail.
