Man arrested at Avoca Campground

Thursday evening, the Iowa County Communications Center received a request for assistant from the Avoca Police chief following an encounter with a subject at the Avoca Campground. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted at the scene. As a result, 63-year-olf Christopher Eddy of Avoca was arrested on a Probation and Parole Violation. Eddy was transported to Upland Hills Health for medical clearance before being transported to the Iowa Cunty Jail where he is being held on a probation and parole hold through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
