Platteville seeks applicants for District 4 Alderperson

The City of Platteville Common Council is seeking applicants to fill the District 4 Alderperson seat vacated by Ken Kilian, who retired from his position on October 20. Applicants must reside in District 4 and will be expected to serve the remainder of the term which expires in April 2027. To apply, interested individuals should submit a one-page letter of interest to cityclerk@platteville.org by November 14. Interviews with the Common Council will be held on November 25.  Appointment by the Council is planned for December 9, with the new member swearing-in and orientation at the January 13 meeting.
