Iowa County emergency response teams have partnered together to create the Youth Emergency Services or YES Club of Iowa County. YES is designed to introduce 9th and 10th grade students to the world of law enforcement, firefighting, EMS, MedFlight, technical rescue, and emergency medicine. By engaging students early in their high school journey, the club helps them see how the choices they make now can open doors to future careers in public safety. Students in the YES Club will gain hands-on experiences, earn certifications like CPR and Stop the Bleed. For more information and future events follow the Iowa County Youth Emergency Services –YES Facebook page.
