Almost all local southwest Wisconsin public schools met or exceeded expectations last school year, according to a new state report. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction released the 2024-25 school and district report cards this week. Each district and school received an overall accountability score and one of five ratings: “significantly exceeds expectations,” “exceeds expectations,” “meets expectations,” “meets few expectations” or “fails to meet expectations.” Both Platteville’s and Cuba City’s Middle and High School received “exceeds expectations.” Westview Elementary School received a “significantly exceeds expectations” rating. Cuba City elementary school received “meets few expectations” this year.
