Monday evening an Iowa County Deputy Conducted a traffic stop on Highway 18-151 near the intersection of County Road Y in Mineral Point Township. As a result of the stop, the operator of the vehicle, 34-year-old Sherman Houston was arrested for Felon in Possession of Firearm, Operating with Controlled Substance 2nd offense, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Houston was transported to and booked into the Iowa County Jail.
