A Platteville man was received multiple citations following a crash in Platteville Township. Saturday morning the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of an unoccupied vehicle that had been involved in a crash near the 600 block of Mitchell Hollow Road, in Platteville Township. The vehicle was located in the south ditch with heavy damage. During the investigation, it was determined 20-year-old James King of Platteville, had been driving the vehicle and failed to notify law enforcement of the crash. Ultimately, King was cited for operating without a valid drivers license 3rd offense within 3 years, failure to maintain control, operating without insurance, and failure to Notify Law Enforcement of a Crash. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by members of the Platteville Fire Department.
