Two people were arrested following a disturbance at the Quality Inn in Mineral Point. Tuesday afternoon, the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a disturbance at the Quality Inn in Mineral Point. Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Mineral Point Police Department responded to the scene. As a result, 34-year-old Tiffany Brown of Dodgeville was arrested on the charge of Resisting Arrest. Brown was transported to the Iowa County Jail and was later released on bond. 36-year-old John A. Powell of Chicago, IL was arrested on the charge of Resisting Arrest and for an out of county Warrant. Powell was transported to the Iowa County Jail, where he remains in custody.
