Charges filed against Platteville woman for 2022 overdose death

The Platteville Police Department have announced charges from a fatal fentanyl overdose from 2022. 30-year-old Tiffany Chandler of Platteville has been charged with first degree reckless homicide in connection with the death of 36-year-old Dustin Dean of Platteville. On February 5, 2022, Platteville Police officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male at a local hotel. Officers discovered the Dean unresponsive, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Subsequent investigation determined the cause of death to be a fentanyl overdose.
