Early Thursday evening South Wayne First Response and Green County EMS responded to E High ST in the Village for a medical emergency. 34-year-old Marcus P. Gilberts of South Wayne was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Battery, Resisting/Obstruction, and Probation and Parole Violation. Gilberts was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains. Darlington Police assisted.
