In a reversal of an earlier decision, the Mineral Point school board will allow some athletic competition while the district is fully-virtual. At a special meeting Wednesday, the board passed a motion to let soccer, volleyball and cross country return immediately. But, student -athletes in those sports have to self-quarantine for 14 days after their last day of competition. As for football at Mineral Point, the board voted to allow player participation to begin October 26th. However, football student-athletes must continue virtual learning the rest of the season – plus self-quarantine for 2 weeks, starting the day after their final competition
