Van Orden to miss votes for wife’s surgery

Congressman Derrick Van Orden will temporarily miss votes as his wife undergoes a scheduled surgical procedure. A press release from Van Orden’s office states he began missing votes on Monday, but his offices will remain open and fully operational during that time. Van Orden will return to Washington DC as soon as his wife’s health permits.
