Two people arrested for drugs in Iowa County

Two people were arrested for drugs following a traffic stop in Iowa County. Wednesday afternoon an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on County Road YZ near the intersection of North Bequette Street in Dodgeville. The operator, 40-year-old Nicholas L Friederich, was arrested on various drug charges including operating with a controlled substance second offense and possession of amphetamines to manufacture, cocaine, and THC. The passenger, 41-year-old Renee L Spurley was arrested for various drug related charges including possession with intent to deliver amphetamines and THC. Both subjects were transported to the Iowa County Jail where they were booked on their charges. This is the second drug possession-related arrested for Spurley within a week in Iowa County.
