Emergency funding for those affected by the flash flooding from earlier this month (Sept 11 – 14) is available through the Wisconsin Department of Administration. The Grant County Emergency Management Office says this is an income eligible program: meaning household incomes must be less than 80% of the county’s median income to qualify (see below).
The funding can cover things such as repair to damaged foundations, floors, walls, roof and structural components. It can also be used for repair of electrical, plumbing, wells and septic systems, along with washed out driveways and culverts. Applications are available at the Grant County Emergency Management Office. Call for more details at 608 – 723 – 7171.
